EISRIESEN-
WELT
The largest ice cave in the world
Even from afar, you can see the massive cave entrance, 20 meters wide and 18 meters high. The entire cave system spans approximately 42 km in length, with only about 1 km covered in ice.
Inside the cave, the average temperature during the summer months is around 0°C, so warm clothing is strongly recommended for the approximately one-hour guided tour.

HIGH ALPINE ROAD
Großglockner, standing at 3,798 meters, is not only Austria's highest mountain but also ranks among the highest peaks in the Alps.
Throughout history, the mountain world has been perceived as dangerous by people. Discoveries such as prehistoric bronze knives, Celtic gold jewelry, a Roman Hercules statue, medieval horse bridles, and chains from galley slaves dating back to the 17th century, attest to human crossings of the Hochkars for nearly four millennia. Until the peak of trade in the 17th century, the Hochtor Pass was the third most important trade route after the Brenner Pass and the Radstadt Tauern Pass, accounting for nearly ten percent of trade volume in the Eastern Alps.
